Way of New Life Ministries is a Christian non-denominational church. Our commission from the Lord is “to give to all that I send; time, effort, and most of all My love.”
What is known today as “Way of NEW LIFE Ministries” began in August of 2011 as a homebound non-denominational Tuesday night prayer meeting. Since then, we have added a Thursday evening Bible Study and Sunday Worship Service. Our teaching is centered on Biblical truth and our mission is to communicate the authentic Word of God in love through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Biography
Michael R. Staab was born in Pittsburgh in 1954. In 1975, while attending a Christian prayer meeting, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He began his training as a minister of the Gospel under the leadership of Bishop Edward V. Donovan, founder of the Community of the Crucified One (CCO). Michael was ordained as a minister in 1983.
In 1988, he was appointed Assistant Pastor of CCO in Pittsburgh. In the years that followed, Michael conducted church services, provided counseling, helped build thirty-three mission houses in western Pennsylvania and the eastern United States, and assisted with countless duties as Assistant Pastor.
Rev. Staab’s education continued under Bishop Donovan, and in November 2001 he was ordained a priest and became a professed member of the Third Order of St. Francis. After 33 years of service at CCO, Michael was called to start Way of New Life Ministries.
